帕森斯.所罗门能源有限公司的爱尔兰方面技术团队以及中方代表在位于爱尔兰首都都柏林市，国家科技部正式宣告全球首例20兆瓦混合飞轮储能系统项目上马

　　2015年3月25日，帕森斯.所罗门能源有限公司的爱尔兰方面技术团队以及中方代表在位于爱尔兰首都都柏林市，国家科技部正式宣告全球首例20兆瓦混合飞轮储能系统项目上马。

　　全球首例商业化混合飞轮储能项目发布会于爱尔兰首都都柏林爱尔兰国家科技发展中心举行，Schwungrad公司首创并拥有混合飞轮储能电厂技术，获得了来自欧盟，科研单位，美国公司，日本日立和中国辽宁正邦集团的强有力的支持，未来会在爱尔兰创造出30-34个高科技就业岗位，在中国投资建厂。

　　完全清洁，高效的飞轮设备是储能电厂的核心部分，极快的反应速率，极高的功率密度，配合高能量密度的电池设备，匹配全新的控制算法软件，使之提供坚实，高效，新一代的系统解决方案，为电网纳入高比例新能源后安全稳定的运行提供了强有力的支撑，为新能源电厂达到高比例并网发电提供了坚实的技术后盾，几何倍数的解决弃风弃光限电的问题。

　　Doireann Barry, 爱尔兰国家电网, says: “EirGrid will have a keen interest in the results from Schwungrad Energie’s proposal to build a hybrid powered flywheel test facility in Rhode. This project has the potential to address system operation issues including advanced voltage controls and system services reserve provision. This could provide additional flexibility to the grid and facilitate the integration of high levels of variable renewable energy sources.”

　　Doireann Barry女士代表爱尔兰国家电网表示，“爱尔兰国家电网对这个项领先全球的技术很感兴趣，可以解决电网运行中高端的电压控制，频率调节等系统备用等问题。它会提供电网在纳入新能源发电的可行性，更高比例的纳入新能源发电。”

　　美国飞轮公司董事长 & CEO, Barry Brits先生 说: “Beacon Power is very pleased to be working with the innovative team at Schwungrad and looks forward to supporting the successful implementation of this important project in Ireland. We are optimistic about the potential in Ireland and Europe for short-duration flywheel energy storage as a key tool to help address the grid system stability impacts of leading implementation of renewable energy sources.

“In this ‘new’ energy storage marketplace, we have been providing these kinds of services in the US for over seven years, have accumulated over eight million flywheel operating hours and delivered more than 300 gigawatt-hours of service to electric grid operators.”
